From The Harbour
From The Harbour is a 20”x30” (approx 51 x 76cm) mixed media painting on a wooden panel.
Inspired by a sketching trip to Lydney Harbour, capturing the light, texture and mood. It conveys a sense of place and atmosphere rather than strict topographical detail.
A contemporary landscape with lots of texture and expressive use of colour - turquoise plays a strong role in the composition, reflecting the bright spring day that inspired the work.
