Many of my paintings are born from the textures & colours I notice in the landscape - the memory of a walk, a colour in the sky or the shifting mood of the riverbank. Earth Spirit grew from a moment where the browns, reds and metallics seemed to whisper together, creating an emotional landscape rather than a literal one.
